The Bigfoot Store is proud to announce the Doug Waller Collection of books. Mr. Waller is a Bigfoot Researcher and author of three books that feature eyewitness accounts of Bigfoot in the Buckeye State.
Doug Waller has been fascinated with stories of Bigfoot for over thirty years. In 2006 he began seriously reading and researching evidence and eyewitness reports. In 2008, he formed the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigation. The purpose of the group is to provide a safe, open forum for Bigfoot believers and eyewitnesses to come together to share Bigfoot stories and reports without fear of ridicule.
By 2012, Doug began receiving invitations to speak at various venues such as libraries and Bigfoot events. In doing his Bigfoot talks, he began meeting many eyewitnesses who had never shared their experiences with anyone for fear of ridicule. He realized that their stories needed to be preserved and made it his mission to begin collecting stories from willing witnesses. In 2013 he published his first collection of Bigfoot stories titled Standing in the Shadows: Bigfoot Stories from Southeastern Ohio. Here's an excerpt from page 22:
Over the next couple of years, as he continued receiving speaking invitations, he met more and more eyewitnesses. In 2015 he published a second book, Hidden Encounters: Bigfoot Stories from Southeastern Ohio and Beyond. Here's an excerpt from page 16:
Mr. Waller's third book, Screams in the Night was published just last year in 2017. He is currently interviewing witnesses and collecting new accounts for the fourth installment of Bigfoot stories to be published in the near future. The following is an excerpt from page 42 of Screams in the Night:
Doug Waller continues to research the mystery of Bigfoot and greatly enjoys meeting and speaking with eyewitnesses who are willing to share their accounts with him. He hopes to continue speaking at public events and working with other amateur researchers to solve the mystery of Bigfoot!
